Meet our Founder

Dr. Sharmin Yaqin is the founder and director of Organzae, a clothing and fashion brand launched in 2023. Dr. Sharmin is the founder of Denvax Cancer Immunotherapy, a pioneering work in cancer treatment. She is also a cancer prevention advocate and works to create awareness about cancer.

Organzae is her brainchild to explore traditional yet contemporary wear for the modern Indian woman. Her clothes exude certain softness, pastel and soothing colors, as well as handwork that’s minimal and easy to carry. The clothes are designed to keep comfort and elegance in mind, and their wearability quotient is high. According to her, most of the designer wear is heavy and expensive and can mostly be worn on certain occasions, like wedding functions. Organzae is luxury clothing that’s not just affordable but also high on wearability and sustainability.
